about the re-formation of "Lucifer's Friend" |

2015
kicked
off with the first Lucifer's Friend rehearsals in over 20 years. |
|
It was like the "Old Times" but with a lot more
breaks in-between..:-)) |
|
***** |
|
2015
also saw me
on a 3 week tour in Russia, Czech Republic and Ukraine
with the |
|
Living Legends of Rock,
Graham Bonnet,
Dan McKafferty
and myself |
|
supported by a Symphony Orchestra. |
|
This tour was a fantastic experience, not only for
visiting parts of Russia I had never been to before, |
|
but
playing with an orchestra and great vocalists like Graham and Dan. |
|

|
On
returning from Russia it was straight to Hamburg for the first
Lucifer's Friend
concert
|
|
in over 20
years. |
|
A couple
of rehearsals and the first show at Hamburg's
Down Town
Blues Club
on 31. May |
|
Electric
atmosphere with so many familiar faces in the audience... |
|
What a
fantastic night! |
|
Although....Highlight of the
LF
shows was
of course
Sweden
Rock Festival
in June, |
|
which was
recorded for a live CD |
|

|
On
the 1st
of July
the
traditional
"July Morning"
concert at
sunrise took place in
Kamen
Briag, |
|
for the
9th year running. |
|
We
again
had a
great
sunrise this year
and
an
incredible audience!! |
|
The whole
show was televised live again, by Bulgarian national TV |
|

|
After
"July Morning" I was a
speaking guest at the launch of the
Hepatitis C
campaign
in Sofia, |
|
Bulgaria,
having been invited
twice during 2015. This has made me very proud indeed. |
|

|
The
latter half of 2015 was spent editing the
Lucifer's Friend
recording of
Live @
Sweden Rock 2015, |
|
ready
for a 8. January release. |
|
Unfortunately the video of the show was unusable due to quality of the
recording and |
|
some
technical faults with the cameras. |
|
We
felt it was unfair to our fans to release a low quality DVD, hence we
settled for a good audio CD |
|
..
AND .. |
|
.. we have
also embarked on writing new material for a brand new LF studio CD,
released later in 2016 ! |
|

|
In January
2016 we are off to play Japan, as very special guests to
Uriah
Heep. |
|

|
